Verse 1:
    A
I'm wearin' a robe
Dbm G D
The same ones we left on the hotel floor
     A
Just one year ago
Dbm G D
"Do not disturb" hangin' on the door

Pre-Chorus:
A Dbm
How the hell we'd end up, where we did?
G D
Don't you think it's messed up? It all went to xxxx
A Dbm
It's kind of depressing, bein' here alone
  G D
I miss you so I pick up the phone

Chorus:
      A Dbm
And I order room service for one
          G D
Champagne mini-bar bottles are done
           A Dbm
I've got a balcony room with the view
       G
Velvet curtains are closed
            D A
I'm singin' sad songs in a hotel room
           Dbm
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm
        G
Where I once held you
            D A
I'm singin' sad songs in a hotel room
           Dbm
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm

Verse 2:
    A Dbm
The neighbors are knockin', they just wanna sleep
     G D
It's 3 a.m. while my guitar gently weeps
  A Dbm
I flip through these old magazines
           G D
Dream destinations, we promised we'd see

Oh, oh-oh

Pre-Chorus:
A Dbm
How the hell we'd end up, where we did?
     G D
Then one year, it all went to xxxx

Chorus:
     A Dbm
So I order room service for one
          G D
Champagne mini-bar bottles are done
           A Dbm
I've got a balcony room with the view
       G
Velvet curtains are closed
            D A
I'm singin' sad songs in a hotel room
              Dbm
Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh
        G
Where I once held you
            D A
I'm singin' sad songs in a hotel room
           Dbm G
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, ah, ah, ah
           D
Oh, oh-oh, oh

Bridge:
   Gbm Db
We checked in together, I never checked out
           A D
Guess it's heartbreak hotel 'cause just look at us now

Chorus:
      A Dbm
Oh, I order room service for one
          G D
Champagne mini bar bottles are done
           A Dbm
I've got a balcony room with the view
       G
Velvet curtains are closed
            D A
I'm singin' sad songs in a hotel room
           Dbm
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm
        G
Where I once held you
            D A
I'm singin' sad songs in a hotel room
