Verse:
        E A
Call my doctor, call my lawyer
        E Gbm7
Call my brother, call my priest
        E A
There's paperwork to fill out
        D D
Cause a dead man walks the streets
          E A
Cause my sister has a best friend
          E Gbm7
That I've known since I was three
     E A
And now I'm gon' get strangled
          D D
Cause we tangled in the sheets

Chorus:
                E A E Gbm7
My homies like "dead man, dead man walking"
                E A D D
My homies like "you a dead man, dead man walking"

E A E Gbm7
Beautiful family friend is she
E A D D
Almost a decade older than me
               E A E Gbm7

And she's been living up in Albany
           E A
Then I had two shows I played up state
             E Gbm7
She came to show love and see my face
             E A
Then we got drinks and we chilled like "hey"
               D -
And then from there it was, you know it was like.

Verse:
        E A
Call my doctor, call my lawyer
        E Gbm7
Call my brother, call my priest
        E A
There's paperwork to fill out
        D D
Cause a dead man walks the streets
          E A
Cause my sister has a best friend
          E Gbm7
That I've known since I was three
     E A
And now I'm gon' get strangled
          D D
Cause we tangled in the sheets

Chorus:
                E A E Gbm7
My homies like "dead man, dead man walking"
                E A D D
My homies like "you a dead man, dead man walking"
                E A E Gbm7
My homies like "dead man, dead man walking"
                E A D D
My homies like "you a dead man, dead man walking"

Verse 2:
                E
Now she's like "Damn!
           A E
How did we let this happen, damn!
           Gbm7 E
How did we end up in this bed then?"
         A
I said "relax" and laughed like
D D
"This would be a pretty dope song."
            E A
She's like "no, I swear to God I'll kill you
E Gbm7
No, I really will just take your life
E A
No, don't even think about it
     D D
But that would be a pretty dope song."
          E A
So I came home and I called my friends
               E Gbm7
Then we got smacked and I wrote this jam
              E A
I know for a fact that I'm gonna be dead

Cause my sister has a best friend
          E Gbm7

     E A

Biography

Strictly a producer at age 14, Bellion became increasingly fed up with being asked for generic records. After literally giving singing and rapping “a shot” out of frustration, the now 29 year old Bellion has developed an incredibly unique lane untouched by anyone. His obsession with moving forward and experimentation has driven him to create “solid and refreshing tunes”, and in the words of Jon himself “that’s all that really matters”

Jon’s 2010 mixtape “Scattered Thoughts Vol.
