Intro:
   Am D7 G Em7 Am D7 G
   D
   D D D D

Em7
She'd take the world off my shoulders,
            Am
If it, was ever hard to move,
D7
She'd turn the rain to a rainbow,
              G D
When I was, living in the blue.

Em7
Why then if she is so perfect,
             Am
Do I still, wish that it was you?
D7
Perfect don't mean that it's working,
                G D
So what can I, do? ooh,

Am D7
When you're out of sight, In my mind.

Interlude: D D

Am D7
'Cause sometimes I look in her, eyes,
                   G D Em7
And that's where I, find a, glimpse of, us,
Am D7
And I try to fall for her, touch,
                   G D Em7
But I'm thinking, of the, way it, was.

           Am D7
Said I'm, fine and said I moved, on,
          G D Em7
I'm only, here passing, time in her, arms,
              Am D7 Em7
Hoping I'll, find, a glim - pse of us.

Interlude: D D D D

Em7
Tell me he savors your glory,
        Am
Does he, laugh the way I did?
D7
Is this a part of your story?
         G D
One that, I had never li – ved.

Em7
Maybe one day you'll feel lonely,
           Am
And in his, eyes you'll get a glimpse,
D7
Maybe you'll start slipping slowly,
             G D
And find me, aga - in.

Am
When you're out of sight,
D7
In my mind.
