Intro -x4-: B E

                                 B
Are they laughing at or with me?
                                      E
Aww, baby, those are such great shoes
                              B
I think that I'm so happy now
                                E
And I think this is a better you
                                 B
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ooooh
                                E
Are they laughing at or with me?
                                B
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oooh
                                   E
Why can't we just say what we mean?

                                 B
People are just trying to fit in
                                   E
But is there something telling you?
                                  B
You can't just anyone in this town
                                     E
Aww, baby, those are such great shoes
                                B
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oooh
                                E
Are they laughing at or with me?
                                B
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oooh
                                   E
Why can't we just say what we mean?

                                Gbm B
Don't put your money where your mouth is, baby

We don't wanna see you choke
                   Gbm B
Nobody's joking around here anymore
                 E
Nobody's broken any high score
                              Gbm B
No dancing shoes have touched these dusty floors
                   E
For such a long, long time
                   Gbm B
For such a long, long time
                E
For such a long time
