Intro: F G Am G F

Verse 1:
F G Am
My guess, I hope that our memories stay
                                 G
And just know that whatever you do
                    F
I hope you love me too
       F
And my heart beats
            G Am
Stuck in a daze of our thoughts
                  C G
And watching me grow to be new
           C F
I hope you love me too

Chorus:
F G Am
So my darling, so my darling, so my darling
C G
When our hairs are turning grey
      C F
Won’t even remember our younger days
Em F
So my darling, so my darling
   G Am
My baby, my boo
C G C F
You are my best friend, you are my best friend
  F Em F G Am C
Remember I’ll always love you------
G C F
You----

Post-Chorus:
       F G Am
And I, la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-love you
C G C F
And I, la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-love you

Verse 2:
             F
Remember the first day we met it was you
G Am
Talking to miss and I came and saved you
         G
Then our friendship just suddenly grew
        F
Started talking and then it all blew
        F
Then we went down our separate ways
G Am
Felt really empty and everything changed
C G
We reunited, it felt just the same
C F
Now we love in a different way

Chorus:
       F G Am
So my darling, so my darling, so my darling
C G
When our hairs are turning grey
      C F
Won’t even remember our younger days
       F
So my darling, so my darling
G Am
Baby, my boo
C G C F
You are my best friend, you are my best friend
  F F G
Remember I’ll always love you------
Am
My, my, my

Me and an old friend of mine would practice this for a school talent show that our school had, but then Covid hit, so we never got to preform it. We don’t talk anymore but whenever I play this song I think of him and all the fun times we had together. He was my bestfriend and it hurts but the wounds will mend(sorry if this is cringy lol)
