Intro: G C Em C

Verse 1:
      G C Em
Now I know I’m a walking contradiction, and it shows
      C G
Got a history of being in control
    C Em C
I’m aware that I could end up here alone
        G C Em
Then we spoke, I had a backbone made of glass and it broke
      C G
Now I stay up and I wait here by the phone
          C Em C
If you’re ready all I mean is we could go

Pre-Chorus:
Em C
I never craved someone’s attention
Em C
As much as yours, thought I should mention that

Chorus:
G Cmaj7
I bet all my money that I will lose to you and hand you my life
Em C
Here’s to hoping you’re worth all the time
G
I might barely know you but still
      C
Don’t love you yet but probably will
Em
Turn me into something tragic
C G
Just for you I let it happen
C Em C
I let it happen

Verse 2:
         G
But it's fine
             C Em
'Cause I can tell that I'm projecting half the time
       C G
I lack context so I've made up all these lies
         C Em
It's the only thing that helps me sleep at night
C
-Hmm, mm, mm-

Pre-Chorus:
Em C
And now I'm looking in the mirror
Em C
You made me vain, I can't believe I have to be her

Chorus:
G Cmaj7
I bet all my money that I will lose to you and hand you my life
Em C
Here’s to hoping you’re worth all the time
G
I might barely know you but still
      Cmaj7
Don’t love you yet but probably will
Em
Turn me into something tragic
C G
Just for you I let it happen
         C
I let it happen
         Em
I let it happen
         C
I let it happen
         D
I let it happen

Bridge:
                     Em
You've turned all my skies to pouring rain
                  C
Locked me out the house again
                G D
Is this how you see me? Now I'm reeling and I might
                      Em
Break the windows, let myself back in
              C
Lost it for a minute there
            G D
Get my xxxx together, it's whatever, but I could die
                   Em
Knowing that you're probably out somewhere
                C
While I'm in my underwear
                  G D
Eating through my feelings, I'm still reeling, but it's fine
                              Em
Oh, thank God that you're not seeing this
                    C
I'll spare you from everything
                   G D
If you would still have me, I'll be waiting all my life
G
Oh-oh

Chorus:
G
I bet all my money that I will
C
Lose to you and hand you my life -Ooh-
Em C
Here's to hoping you're worth all my time -I hope you're worth my time-
G
I might barely know you, but still -Still-
      Cmaj7
Don't love you yet, but probably will -Will-
Em
Turn me into something tragic
C
Just for you, I let it happen
G
I bet all my money that I will -I'm letting it-
Cmaj7
Lose to you and hand you my life -I'm letting it, ooh-
Em Cmaj7
Here's to hoping you're worth all my time -I hope you're worth my time; I'm letting it-
G
I might barely know you, but still -Still-
      Cmaj7
Don't love you yet, but probably will -Will-

AAAAAAH!!!! LESSGOOO!!!!

.n0ah.114

As a diehard TOP fan, I am disappointed in these guys, you can’t go back to trench, you can’t mess with the classics. their old stuff was straight GAS and now I don’t even know what to think about this. usually, their songs are filled with emotion and meaning, and they are great and creative, WHERE DID IT ALL GO TO DIE????? I miss the old them back in the good old days where they didn’t have the chorus after ever verse that is way too much of the same. it’s like their trying to fit in with the new pop genre and they lost basically their own style. after scaled and icy i was expecting smth different. No, they just went to mediocre tracks and bad lyrics “3 stripes on my adidas track jacket” I’m actually dead. Tyler, nice jacket, please do better. literally 2 lines then “overcompensate” like Tyler, you had me until you lost me, I’m hoping for their next release to be better.
I’m not hating but I would like to know if anybody else feels the same about this little tune they made.
