Intro: Gb Db Ebm B Db Ebm

Verse 1:
            Gb Db
I miss the taste of your lips on Sunday
         Ebm
And the sound of your laugh when I say something funny
     B Db Ebm
But nobody heard it, except for you
        Gb Db
And my mom still ask about you
   Ebm
I lie and say we friendly
          B Db Ebm
'Cause I don't have it in me, to tell the truth

Pre-Chorus:
  Gb Db Ebm
You and me, what are we if we not together?
 B Db Ebm
It could be nothing 'cause nothing last forever

Chorus:
 Gb Db Ebm B
If you saw me on the train would you look the other way?
      Db Ebm
Like strangers do
Gb Db Ebm
And if you passed me on the street
                             B
Would you look down at your feet
     Db Ebm Gb
And move on through
      Db Ebm
Like strangers do

Verse 2:
            Gb Db
I miss the way that you looked in your sundress
      Ebm
The way that you looked when you undressed
     B Db Ebm
The sound of your first steps across the room
        Gb Db
Now my friends don't ask about you
             Ebm
'Cause they think I'm fine without you
   B Db Ebm
I say it's all good but it's never true -Oh, no, no, woah-

Pre-Chorus:
  Gb Db Ebm
You and me, what are we if we not together?
 B Db Ebm
It could be nothing 'cause nothing last forever

Chorus:
 Gb Db Ebm B
If you saw me on the train would you look the other way?
      Db Ebm
Like strangers do
Gb Db Ebm
And if you passed me on the street
                             B
Would you look down at your feet
     Db Ebm Gb
And move on through
      Db Ebm
Like strangers do -Strangers do-

|C |Am |Em |Em D#m |Dm |Dm |Em |Em | x2

[Verse]

C Am
I guess I should stop
Em Dm
Looking out for you
Em
Like I always do
C Am
When will you
Em Dm
Start looking out for me too
Em
Instead of leaving me staring at my shoes
C Am Em
Just the way you’re glancing at me
Dm
Something about you
Em
Just makes me feel guilty for
C Am
Liking you
Em Dm
When you’re with him
Em
When you’re with him

[Chorus]

F Em Dm
This is a love song for a girl
Dm
Who will never know it’s about her
F Em
Know it’s pretty stupid
Dm
But I’m much too shy to tell her
F Em Dm
She’s beaming that smile all the while
F Em G
I’m all tripped up on my own throat

I guess there is no hope

|C |Am |Em |Em D#m |Dm |Dm |Em |Em | x2

[Verse]

C Am Em
When you’re walking out in the snow
Dm Em
I say I guess I should go
C Am Em
And we’re talking about someone else
Dm Em
When we should be talking about ourselves
C Am Em
It’s the same old situation you’ve always got me waiting
Dm Em
Come on dear I think times a-wastin’
C Am Em
Before we have to go back inside
Dm Em
And return to our normal lives

[Chorus]

F Em Dm
This is a love song for a girl
Dm
Who will never know it’s about her
F Em
Know it’s pretty stupid

I’m all tripped up on my own throat

I guess there is no hope

STUMMING PATTERN????

aabbyy

i like to do +3 with capo on third fret (to stay in key i guess) but instead of using the Ebm chord after Em i like to just slide the Em up the fretboard by 1

aabbyy

i think this actually sounds the most like the song with it transposed @Say what? +3 but with ur capo on 1st fret

Enby ⛥
