Intro -x2-: Gb Bbm Ab

Verse 1:
               Gb Bbm
Sorry 'bout my head, it's not here
          Ab
I'm still learning how to fear
        Gb Bbm Ab
I'm too spirited for one of a kind
         Gb Bbm
About my head, it's all near
        Ab
But I'm learning how to steer
       Gb Bbm Ab
It's a miracle that I still oblige, oblige

Interlude -x4-: Gb Bbm Ab

Verse 2:
                Gb Bbm
Sorry 'bout my head, it's in space
           Ab
I'm still learning how to pace
        Gb Bbm Ab
I'm too atheist to pray for my life
         Gb Bbm
About my head, it's on straight
        Ab
But I'm all over the place
        Gb Bbm Ab
I'm too make-shift for shaping a life

Bridge:
  Ebm Bbm Ab Gb
I pledge my love to the runt who never got away
  Ebm Bbm Ab Gb Ab
I mend my cuts for the runt that you convinced to stay, to stay

Verse 3:
              Gb Bbm
Where is your head? I don't fret
         Ab Gb Bbm Ab
I'm just asking for a friend, he's got enemies that beckon the light
            Gb Bbm
His name is Bren, don't forget
    Ab Gb Bbm Ab
An irrational lament that you left for him on Benedict Drive

Bridge:
  Ebm Bbm Ab Gb
I pledge my love to the runt who never got away
  Ebm Bbm Ab Gb Ab
I mend my cuts for the runt that you convinced to stay, to stay

Chorus:
Gb Bbm Ab
Do you remember them? The blind, they paid no mind

-You wrap me up-
Gb Bbm Ab
Split on the cusp and just in time you made it right

-You wrap me up-
Gb Bbm Ab
I won't forget about the way you saved my life
            Gb
You wrap me up
            Bbm
You wrap me up
            Ab
You wrap me up

Post-Chorus:
         Gb Bbm Ab
First aid
         Gb Bbm Ab
First aid
         Gb Bbm Ab
First aid
         Gb Bbm Ab
First aid

Outro:
                 Gb Bbm Ab
I would slit his wrists and reminisce it if it wasn't for my sis
          Gb Bbm Ab Gb
She's got heart the size of I-95, I drive

Biography

Gus Dapperton is an indie pop artist from Warwick, New York, United States.

Starting out as a hip-hop producer at the age of 13, Dapperton made the switch to his current sound after a serious hospitalisation and the failure of his laptop.

Pairing infectious, nostalgia-laden tunes with high-concept filmclips, lauded for their high-concept cinematic execution, has proven to be a recipe for success. Blowing up through 2017, with two EPs dropped, and fans and the press alike taking notice, Dapperton’s future looks bright.
