Chorus:
Bbm Bbm7 Bbm7 Eb
I do not mind the rain sometimes
       Ebm F Bbm Bbm7
'Cause that's the only way the roses bloom in my mind
       Bbm7 Eb
When I cry, when I cry
Ebm F Bbm F
That's the only way the roses bloom

Verse:
Bbm Bbm7
  It's okay, I'm not okay
 Bbm Bbm7 Bbm
I feel the disarray of yesterday, oh my
                   Bbm7 Ebm F
I need to feel the raindrops on my head, on my head

Bbm Bbm7
I know I know nothing so
 Bbm Bbm7 Bbm
I embrace what I cannot control, oh my
                Bbm7 Ebm F
Trouble walks beside me till my end, till my end

Chorus:
Bbm Bbm7 Bbm7 Eb
I do not mind the rain sometimes
       Ebm F Bbm Bbm7
'Cause that's the only way the roses bloom in my mind
       Bbm7 Eb
When I cry, when I cry
       Ebm F Bbm F
'Cause that's the only way that the roses bloom

Verse:
Bbm Bbm7
It's better to have loved and lost
   Bbm Bbm7 Bbm
But, the feeling it comes at a cost, oh my
             Bbm7 Ebm F
My poor heat is my only friend, only friend

Bbm Bbm7 Bbm
And I've come to love a heavy sky
                       Bbm7 Bbm
The lightning couldn't beat my shine, oh my
              Bbm7 Ebm F
Trouble walks beside me till my end, till my end

Chorus:
Bbm Bbm7 Bbm7 Eb
I do not mind the rain sometimes
       Ebm F Bbm Bbm7
'Cause that's the only way the roses bloom in my mind
       Bbm7 Eb
When I cry, when I cry
       Ebm F Bbm F
'Cause that's the only way that the roses bloom

Bridge:
Ebm
Hand on my heart, I swear I made
Bbm F
Peace with the rain, peace with the rain
      Eb F
Now I dance with the pain

Ebm
Hand on my heart, I swear I made
Bbm F
Peace with the rain, peace with the rain
           Eb F
Now I slow dance with the pain, yeah

Chorus:
Bbm Bbm7 Bbm7 Eb
I do not mind the rain sometimes
       Ebm F Bbm Bbm7
'Cause that's the only way the roses bloom in my mind
       Bbm7 Eb
When I cry, when I cry
       Ebm F
'Cause that's the only way
Ebm F Bbm
That's the only way the roses bloom
