Intro: D Bm D Bm

D
Verse 1:
D Bm D
Well, I'm not sold on soulmates
                           Bm G
But do believe in twist of fate
                             Em G
I don't believe in shootin' stars
                            Em D
But made a wish and here we are
                                Bm D
But what if we're not meant to be?
                                  Bm G
What if dreams aren't meant for dreams?
                        Em G
Don't believe in being sad
                            Dadd9 A G
So, would you try to understand, when I ask?

Chorus:
G
If we fall apart
    D A G
Who should I call to help me mend my heart?
                              D
If feelings fade and go their separate ways
      A Bm
Who'd be my light in dark

Well, I don't know
                         A Em
But what I do know is, I hope they never do
  Gm6 D
I don't know who I'd be without you
Verse 2:
D Bm D
I've always liked the way you think
                          Bm G
Try to see your side of things and you asked
                           Em G
What could we be a better yet?
                      D A
What if we had never met at all?

Chorus:
   G
And if we fall apart
    D A G
Who would I call to help me mend my heart?
                              D
If feelings fade, we go our separate ways
      A Bm
Who'd be my light in dark

Well, I don't know
                         A Em
But what I do know is, I hope we never do
  Gm6
I don't know who I'd be without

Bridge:
Em
You and all your little things
       D A
You've taught me love, you make me sing
  Em D A
I wonder if you'll ever know the truth
     Gm6
That you and all the things you do
    G
Put every piece of me into
    Asus4 A
And if we part forever, I'll be blue
   G Em G
But if we decide to separate
                         Dadd9 A
Before I go, I've gotta say that

Chorus:
G
If we fall apart
     D A G
I'll be right here to help you mend your heart
                            D
If feelings fade, we go our separate ways
     A Bm
I'll be your light through dark

And even though I'll know you're not alone
    A Em
One thing will still be true
  Gm6
I don't know who I'd be without
    Em
How would I even breathe without
   Gm6 D
I don't know who I'd be without you
