Verse 1:
            Am
Lady of the palace, sorry that I ask this
                E
But I hope that I've been misinformed
                Am C
I sent out some scouts to take a look around through
              F E
Here and they wound up at your doors
                     Am
Through the years we seldom get a warm welcome, so
       E
I must ask just to be sure
        F
Did you do something to them?
-nc-
Who, me?
      Dm E
All I did was reveal their true forms
-nc-
You turned them into pigs
-nc-
Huh

Pre-Chorus 1:
  Am
I don't know who you are nor why you're here
    E
But let me make this one thing clear
         F
I've got people to protect
F
Nymphs I can't nеglect
   Dm E
So I'm not taking chances, dear

Chorus 1:
            Am
If you makе one wrong move, then you're done for
           E
Anything I don't approve, then you're done for
              F
I could put a spell on you and you're done for
                E
Boy, you better run or soon you will done for

Verse 2:
                Am
I don't mean to tip your scale but you will fail at
F E
Placing any spells on me
             Am
I just ate a flower, one that claims your power
              F E
So you better cower now and flee

              Am
You must be a liar, mortals can't acquire
             F E
Moly without dire consequence

                 Am
Then I must be a god like you
                                F E
'Cause I got this root from the ground with my bare hands

-nc-
Hermes gave it to you, didn't he?
-nc-
Okay, fine, yes, but regardless

Pre-Chorus 2:
Dm
You and I are now evenly matched
    E
Our fates are intertwined, they're attached
         F
I've got people to protect, friends I can't neglect
   Dm E
So now there is no turning back

Chorus 2:
                 Am
You've made your one wrong move, now you're done for
              E
I will be the one to prove that you're done for
           F
Not even a spell saves you, 'cause you're done for
               E
Oh, you better run or soon you will be done for

You've lost

Circe:
   Am E
My nymphs are like my daughters
     Am E
I protect them at all costs
    Am E
The last time we let strangers live
   Dm E
We faced a heavy loss
       Am E
You've given me no reason to
  Am E
Bestow you with my trust
    Am E
But everyone's true colours are
  Dm E
Revealed in acts of lust

-nc-
I'm not sure I follow

Strumming pattern?

JakeRaven

Hey thanks for the chords, but where did you copy your lyrics from? This and all similar sites start the Bridge with “Up up Ahead…away from me”.
Superman says “Up, up and away” and so does this song. Hope this helps

PenguinPlayer

putting a capo on the second fret make the song easier to sing if your voice is higher.
