flatsound is the solo recording project of Mitch Welling, a songwriter and sound artist based in Southern California. flatsound is characterized by intimate, poignant songwriting, allowing the listener to develop a deeply personal relationship with Welling, while also experimenting with ambient, atmospheric sounds.
