Intro: Gb B Ebm B

Gb
Stuck in the jet wash
      B
Bad trip I couldn't get off
            Ebm
And maybe I bit off more than I could chew
        B
And overhead of the aqua blue

               Gb
Fall to your knees bring on the rapture
                B
Blessed be the boys time can't capture
     Ebm
On film or between the sheets
                         B
I always fall from your window to the pitch black streets

              B
And with the black banners raised
        Ebm
As the crooked smiles fade
B Ebm
Former heroes who quit too late
B Ebm Db
Just wanna fill up the trophy case again

Chorus:
            Gb B
And in the end, I'd do it all again
                         Ebm
I think you're my best friend
                         B
Don't you know that the kids aren't all, kids aren't alright
         Gb B
I'll be yours, when it rains it pours
                     Ebm
Stay thirsty I'll be fine
                         B
Don't you know that the kids aren't all, kids aren't alright

          Gb
I'm not passive but aggressive
       B
Take note, it's not impressive
            Ebm
Empty your sadness like you're dumping your purse
                B
On my bedroom floor, we put your curse in reVerse

          Gb
And it's our time now if you want to to be
          B
More the war like the carnival bears set free
         Ebm
And your love is anemic and I can't believe
      B
That you couldn't see it coming from me

    B Ebm
And I still feel that rush in my veins
    B Ebm
It twists my head just a bit too thin
            B Ebm Db
All those people in those old photographs I've seen are dead

Chorus:
            Gb B
And in the end, I'd do it all again
                         Ebm
I think you're my best friend
                         B
Don't you know that the kids aren't all, kids aren't alright
         Gb B
I'll be yours, when it rains it pours
                     Ebm
Stay thirsty I'll be fine
                         B
Don't you know that the kids aren't all, kids aren't alright

         Ebm Gb B
And sometimes I just want to sit around, and gaze at my shoes yeah
                     Ebm Gb B
And let your dirty sadness fill me up, just like a balloon

Chorus:
            Gb B
And in the end, I'd do it all again
                         Ebm
I think you're my best friend
                         B
Don't you know that the kids aren't all, kids aren't alright
         Gb B
I'll be yours, when it rains it pours
                     Ebm
Stay thirsty I'll be fine
                         B
Don't you know that the kids aren't all, kids aren't alright

Biography

Fall Out Boy is a band formed in 2001 in Glenview, Illinois after good friends Joe Trohman and Pete Wentz met high schooler Patrick Stump.
