Verse 1:
F C Bbmaj7
When I was a child, running in the night,

                          Dm C Bbmaj7
And of what was following me, -Doo - doo, doo - doo, doo, d'- doo!-
              Am Dm Bbmaj7 Am

            C Dm Bbmaj7 Am
I've always been a coward, -Urh-urh, urh-urh, urh, urh - urh!-

And I'll be----- ...two steps on the water

I found a fox caught by dogs, he let me take him in my hands,
           C Bbmaj7
His little heart ...it beats so fast,
                               F Dm
And I'm ashamed of running a - way ...from nothing real,
