Verse 1:
                         Db
Honestly I'm kinda burned out
                Bbm
I've been waitin' so long
                            B
I guess I've just been watching your mouth
                        Gb
Try to form the words of a love song
                        Db
And honey, will you sing it for me?
                      Bbm
Get it stuck inside my head
                     B
Cutting letters out of a magazine
                          Ebm
I write myself a ransom love note instead

Chorus:
        Gb
Well, how many figures
                         Ebm
Will it take for you to bring me back my heart?
                      Bbm
'Cause right now it's sittin' in your basement
                        Db
Hidden in the back with some stolen art
      Gb
And hey, Mona Lisa
                      Ebm
While you're smiling, will you give him one for me?
                  Bbm
'Cause I locked myself inside his coffin
            Db
And I was dumb еnough
          Db
To throw away the-

Verse 2:
              Db
Well honestly it's kind my fault
            Bbm
I'vе been wastin' my time
                         B
But I would rather watch you from miles away
                    Ebm nc
Than be a little closer and bored and blind
Ebm Db
And when I'm lookin' at you
            Bbm
Everything disappears
                    B
And lovin' gets a little bit lonelier
                   Ebm
But loneliness was never my biggest fear

Chorus:
     Gb
Well, how many figures
                     Ebm
Will it take for you to bring me back my heart?
                         Bbm
'Cause right now it's sittin' in your basement
                   Db
Hidden in the back with some stolen art
         Gb
And hey, Mona Lisa
                               Ebm
While you're smiling, will you give him one for me?
                          Bbm
'Cause I locked myself inside his coffin
               Db
And I was dumb enough
                   Gb Ebm
To throw away the key
         Bbm Db
Yeah, throw away the key, hey

Bridge:
Gb
Don't you wanna read my letter?
Bbm
Maybe you'd like to know me better
Gb
Don't you wanna read my letter?
Bbm
Maybe you'd like to know me better

Bbm
Maybe you'd like to know me better

                            nc
Will it take for you to bring me back my heart?
                          nc
'Cause right now it's sittin' in your basement
                        nc
Hidden in the back with some stolen art

       Gb
And hey, Mona Lisa
                             Ebm
While you're smiling, will you give him one for me?
                   Bbm
'Cause I locked myself inside his coffin
           Db
And I was dumb enough
         Gb Ebm
To throw away the key
        Bbm
Oh, throw away the key
  Db
Yeah

These chords sound off. I played a bit and found the right chords by ear. These work better in my opinion. (D G Em A) Try it if this one isn’t working for you.
