Verse 1:
   Dm G7 C C
We puff our storys up to make them sound so great
          Dm G7 C C
It's what story tellers do to make things feel okay
       Dm G7 C C
but if you've forgotten about me, I'll forget about you
           Dm G7 C C
and we can stop pretending like we ever knew eachothers favorite songs

Verse 2:
        Dm G7 C C
'cause I'll never know, no, I will never know
    Dm G7 C C
how long it took to heal these broken bones

Bridge:
    Dm G7 C C
One day I'll go so far away, and see
     Dm G7 C C
that everything fell into place and worked out right for me, and maybe for you too

Pre-Chorus:
    Dm G7 C C
Wondering why I ever worried the slightest bit about anything

Chorus:
        Dm G7 C C
I guess that's just how my mind thinks

Verse 2:
            Dm G7 C C
'cause I'll never know, no, I will never know
    Dm G7 C C
how long it took to heal these broken bones

Verse 3:
            Dm G7 C C
but they're mended now, and so I pray are yours
    Dm G7 C C
you know the value placed on being whole

Verse 2:
            Dm G7 C C
'cause I'll never know, no, I will never know
    Dm G7 C C
how long it took to heal these broken bones

I can do 4 chords and nothing else

At the start of quarantine, I got so sad I couldn’t play this – Bb was just too hard for me and I felt so disheartened. Now it’s November and I’m strumming like a champ 🙂 practice really does make perfect! (I’m aware that as of posting this it’s a relatively new arrangement, there was another version of this that I couldn’t play due to the Bb chord)

Kit-Kat Bar

I swear I don’t play for 1 week and now all the good songs are on! lol, anyway love to all who play and thi sis probably the only thing keeping me sane in quarentine.

Random Person

I am happy I have a ukulele so I can play songs. Its kept my spirits high during quarantine. I do find myself mostly playing Cavetown songs 😅 but, I mean, who can blame me, they are really fun to play, and I feel like most of Cavetowns songs mean something to everyone in different ways. Thats why I love music. It may be talking about one thing, sure, but to everyone who hears it, they could be interpreting it in another way. I love hearing different interpretations of songs and what everyone thinks its about and how it hits home for them. I love playing songs and seeing the different reactions and hearing feedback, and thank you uketabs for helping me learn them ☺️
