Verse:
 C Dm
I can tell by your eyes,
                  G C
that you've probably been crying forever.
              Dm G
And the stars in the sky don't mean nothing,

will the shadows hide the colours of my heart.

Blue for the tears, black for the night's fears

I absolutely love this, and have been using it as practice for getting into fingerpicking.

been picking only 3 strings for it, but in the pattern 3-1-2-3-1-2-3-1. really gives a beautiful sound.

changes i make: at the C-C7 change, I do it as C-Cmaj7, C7, A, each for a single bar, before moving on the chorus.

Jane Lee

You can play a C7 instead of the Em it sounds ok….we’ll it does to me

hea

This is just like the song!!!

Troy

it sound great without the Em also

Wendy Young

This is fab! Reading the comments below, personally, I think it definitely needs the lift of the Em. This is perfect! Thank you so much!

Love any minor chord. Adds so much to a tune.
