Intro: G B7 E G7 C F C

G D
Another red letter day,
       E B G
So the pound has dropped and the children are creating,
C A
The other half ran away,
       D C G D
Taking all the cash and leaving you with the lumber,
G B
Got a pain in the chest,
           E G7
Doctors on strike what you need is a rest.
         A A D
It's not easy love, but you've got friends you can trust,

C A
Friends will be friends,
               G E
When you're in need of love they give you care and attention,
D B #
Friends will be friends,
            E E
When you're through with life and all hope is lost,
     G A C
Hold out your hand cos friends will be friends
D G B7
Right till the end.

G D
Now it's a beautiful day,
    E B G
The postman delivered a letter from your lover,
C A
Only a phone call away,
             D C G D
You tried to track him down but somebody stole his number,
G B
As a matter of fact,
               E G7
You're getting used to life without him in your way.
        A A D
It's so easy now, cos you got friends you can trust,

C A
Friends will be friends,
               G E
When you're in need of love they give you care and attention,
D B #
Friends will be friends,
            E E
When you're through with life and all hope is lost,
     G A
Hold out your hand cos friends will be friends
D
Right till the end.

-same as the other Chorus-

It's so easy now, cos you got friends you can trust,
Friends will be friends,
When you're in need of love they give you care and attention,
Friends will be friends,
When you're through with life and all hope is lost,
Hold out your hand cos friends will be friends right till the end.

Friends will be friends,
When you're in need of love they give you care and attention,
Friends will be friends,
When you're through with life and all hope is lost,
Hold out your hand cos right till the end
Friends will be friends.

And return to our normal lives

I play A7m instead of Dbm, it’s easier and I think it sounds better, its Bm, but two frets down

STUMMING PATTERN????

aabbyy

i like to do +3 with capo on third fret (to stay in key i guess) but instead of using the Ebm chord after Em i like to just slide the Em up the fretboard by 1

aabbyy

i think this actually sounds the most like the song with it transposed @Say what? +3 but with ur capo on 1st fret

Biography

Queen is an English rock band originally consisting of four members: vocalist and pianist Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, bass guitarist John Deacon, and drummer Roger Taylor.

The band formed in London in 1970 after May and Taylor’s former band Smile split after having released an album and single. Freddie replaced lead vocalist Tim Staffell, after the latter’s departure from the original trio.

There was much deliberation as to what the band’s name would be.
