7 ukulele chords used in "The Times They Are a-Changin’" by Bob Dylan: Am, C, D, D7, Em, G and Gmaj7

I would suggest another chord progression that sounds better to me…:
Come (G)gather round (Em)people where- (D)ever you (G)roam
and (G)admit that the (C)waters a-(Am)round you have (D)grown
And (G)accept it that (Em)soon you’ll be (Am)drenched to the (G)bone
If your (G)time to (C)you is worth (D)savin’
Then you (D)better start (Bm)swimmin’ or you’ll (G)sink like a (D)stone
For the (G)times, they are a (C)chang- (D)- (G)in’
And so on…
Try it without singing over it and you will see it sounds closer to the melody…
I dont seem to remember the chord progression, so, Please? place the chords over the whole song? pretty please? :p
Yeah could you put the chords all over? That’d be great.
Also for the last line a the Verse you can play:
For the (G5)times, they (Gsus4)are (G)a (Am)chan-(D)-(G)gin’.
G-C-E-A
G5: 0-2-3-5
Gsus4: 0-2-3-3
The Gmaj7 doesn’t sound right to me…. anyone have any alternate suggestions?
Hate seeing just the first verse with the chords… I appreciate the content but not making it complete it’s just lazy man ppl gotta stop doing that
For anyone wondering the progression, if you know roman numeral analysis you can just write down
I vi IV I/ I ii IV I/ I vi IV I/ I ii V/ V V7 I(7) V/ I IV V I
That way it works for whichever key you wish to play it in.
Plus 5 works better for me
@Katie,
Try Am
Can you put the chords all over the song?
