Verse 1:
A
  No flask can keep it
D Gbm
Bubble up and cut right through
                                  D
But you're someone I believe in
A
You heat me like a filament
D Gbm
  Anytime you're in the room
                                    D
But you burned me and I'm smoking

Chorus:
                                Dbm Gbm
I just wanted you to watch me dissolve, slowly
      E Bm A Bm
In a pool full of your love, your love
                  D Dbm
But I don't even know how the chemistry works
Gbm E
When you're poolside
                Bm A
Kicking in the dirt, kicking in the sand
                  Bm
And stirring up trouble

Verse 2:
A
  Can't find an exit
D Gbm
I wander in a maze alone
                           D
If I find you will you shock me?
Gbm D
  Left, left and right, right
                                    Gbm
Pretty sure that I've been here before
                             D
And it isn't what I wanted

Chorus:
                                Dbm Gbm
I just wanted you to watch me dissolve, slowly
      E Bm A Bm
In a pool full of your love, your love
                  D Dbm
But I don't even know how the chemistry works
Gbm E
When you're poolside
                Bm A
Kicking in the dirt, kicking in the sand
                  Bm
And stirring up trouble

Verse 3:
Gbm D
  Your voice like an angel
         E Bm
Been chain smoking all month long
                 D Gbm Db7
Like you're someone I believe in
Gbm D
Am I only a lab rat?
                   E Bm
Someone you can test things on?
        Gbm A Db7
This isn't what I signed up for

Bridge:
                    D Db7 Gbm E
I just wanted you to
                    Bm D Db7 E
I just wanted you to
                    D Db7 Gbm E
I just wanted you to
                    Bm D Db7 E
I just wanted you to

Chorus:
                       D Dbm A
I just wanted you to watch me dissolve, slowly
      E Bm A Bm
In a pool full of your love, your love
                  D Dbm
But I don't even know how the chemistry works
Gbm E
When you're poolside
                Bm A
Kicking in the dirt, kicking in the sand
                  Bm
And stirring up trouble
