Verse:
F
Rolling around like a big rubber ball
Am
Writing this song about some things that I saw
F
Trying to stand like a big strong tough man
Am
Finding out fast that I'm sinking in sin

Chorus:
Bb F
All I got is nothing but a little bit of love
      Bb C
Gonna give it to the people then they'll see,

Then they'll see

Verse:
F
Spinning the tops as the tables they turn
Am
Made some mistakes but I still couldn't learn
F
Covered my tracks, thought I was fine
Am
Got no self control now I'm back here in line

Chorus:
Bb F
All I got is nothing but a little bit of love
      Bb C
Gonna give it to the people then they'll see,

Then they'll see

Bridge - x4 -: F Am

Chorus:
Bb F
All I got is nothing but a little bit of love
      Bb C
Gonna give it to the people then they'll see,

Then they'll see

-3 is super easy for beginners. When you put a capo on fret 3 it sounds so beautiful and is easy to sing along to. I use the strumming patters DDUUDU

… hope this helps!

Camille Sorensen

An easier version is actually four half steps up. (: Other than that, this is really good! Thanks.

EmJayJacko

If you play 3 half-steps down w/ capo on 3, it’s easier and in the same key.

dyspeptic

Much easier to play Ab/G# as 1043 – this makes transition to Eb much easier and sounds just as good

Jonco

I thing 1 half step down is realy easy. But thanks allot this is great 🙂 great song

mandabearsy

I love you EmKayJacko. it sounds so pretty like that! Thank you!

I think after “boy quit fooling around,” playing D between C and G at “I told her” sounds really good. Same for “A beautiful song to be sung” and “she’s got blue eyes”

lilasaurusrex

Easiest version is 4 steps above

Album: Thank You Happy Birthday

From the same album
  1. Right Before My Eyes
  2. Rubber Ball
  3. Shake Me Down
  1. Not yet in this list? Request!
