Intro:
A D
I didn't get to see Jordy!
A D A
  Oooh ooh

Verse 1:
A D A
Apparently the air quality in Southern California makes it harder to breathe
                                                      D
But I think it’s stress going straight to my head and really that's the reason
       A
I keep holding my breath
E Gbm D
Oh driving up and down the 10
                    E
Talking to the internet
       Gbm D -nc-
Making friends that I'll forget

Pre-Chorus:
-nc-
Sometimes I feel like

Chorus:
A
Life would be better in South Dakota
D A
Out in the middle of Minnesota
Gbm E
Watch the leaves fall down in late October
D
Everything will move a little slower
A
Somewhere far away likе Indiana
D A
Maybe then I’ll be a littlе happier
Gbm7 E
Wouldn't be that hard to get up, go there
D E -nc- A
I keep thinking 'bout it over and over again
    D
Ooh ooh
A
Over and over again
    D A E
Ooh ooh

Verse 2:
A
It's getting old how I feel so alone
D A
In a sea of people always checking their phones, yeah
                                      D
Just like that I can pack up my bags, cross a couple of borders
        A
And I'd never look back
    E Gbm D
But then I would have all these regrets
                       E
What a waste of time I spent
      Gbm D
Maybe I'm not ready yet

Pre-Chorus:
-nc-
But sometimes I feel like

Chorus:
A
Life would be better in South Dakota
D A
Out in the middle of Minnesota
Gbm7 E
Watch the leaves fall down in late October
D
Everything will move a little slower
A
Somewhere far away like Indiana
D A
Maybe then I'll be a little happier
Gbm7 E
Wouldn't be that hard to get up, go there
D E -nc- A
I keep thinking ’bout it over and over again
    D
Ooh ooh
A
Over and over again
    D A
Ooh ooh

Outro:
A
Life would be better in South Dakota
D A
Doesn’t matter just the middle of nowhere
Gbm E
Wouldn't be that hard to get up, go there
D A
I keep thinking ’bout it over and over again

Biography

There are at least two artists sharing the name Jordy: 1) a French dance artist; 2) a UK rapper.

1) Jordy Lemoine was born on January 14 1988 in Caen, Normandie, France.
Probably the youngest dance artist ever, Jordy began his career in showbusiness in 1992, at age 4, with the release of the single “Dur Dur D’être Bébé” (“It’s Tough To Be A Baby”) which spent 15 weeks at #1 (in France) and sold about 2 000 000 copies worldwide. A second single (“Alison”) and full album (“Pochette Surprise”) were released soon after
