Chorus:
             C Em
I woke up in Japan
                     Am G
Feeling low, feeling lonely
                C Em
The best I ever had
                 Am G
It was more than half empty
             C Em
I woke up in Japan
                     Am G
Feeling low, feeling lonely
                C Em
The best I ever had
                 Am G
It was more than half empty

Verse 1:
                        C Em
It was more than just a neon weekend
                           Am G
Light slipping through the third floor curtain
                        C Em Am G
Spreading love like the morning news from the day before

Pre-Chorus:
C Em
Falling fast, breathing slow
Am G C Em
Time is up, the end is just a dream
       Am G
Just a dream

Chorus:
             C Em
I woke up in Japan
                     Am G
Feeling low, feeling lonely
                C Em
The best I ever had
                 Am G
It was more than half empty

Verse 2:
                       C Em
It's enough to let the night let go of me
                     Am G
a few steps into the open doorway
                          C Em Am G
Heart pounding, there's a noise complaint from room 304

Pre-Chorus:
C Em
Falling fast, breathing slow
Am G C Em
Time is up, the end is just a dream
       Am G
Just a dream

Chorus:
             C Em
I woke up in Japan
                     Am G
Feeling low, feeling lonely
                C Em
The best I ever had
                 Am G
It was more than half empty

             C Em
I woke up in Japan
                     Am G
Feeling low, feeling lonely
                C Em
The best I ever had
                 Am G
It was more than half empty

             C Em Am G
I woke up in Japan, woah
             C Em Am G C
I woke up in Japan, woah
