Verse 1:
Bm G
   Where have you been?
            Em
Do you know when you're coming back?
Bm G
   'Cause since you've been gone
         Em Gb
I've got along but I've been sad

Pre-Chorus:
Bm
I tried to put it out for you to get
G
Could've, should've but you never did
Em
Wish you wanted it a little bit
Em
More but it's a chore for you to give

Refrain:
Bm G
   Where have you been?
             Em
Do you know if you're coming back?

Chorus:
        Bm A
We were too close to the stars
        G Em A
I never knew somebody like you, somebody
Bm A
Falling just as hard
           G Em A
I'd rather lose somebody than use somebody
Bm A G Em A
Maybe it's a blessing in disguise -I see myself in you-
Bm A G Em A
I see my reflection in your eyes

Verse 2:
Bm G
   I know you're sick
           Em
Hoping you fix whatever's broken
Bm G
   Ignorant bliss
          Em Gb
And a few sips might be the potion

Pre-Chorus:
Bm
I tried to put it out for you to get
G
Could've, should've but you never did
Em
Wish you wanted it a little bit
Em
More but it's a chore for you to give

Refrain:
Bm G
   Where have you been?
             Em
Do you know if you're coming back?

Chorus:
        Bm A
We were too close to the stars
        G Em A
I never knew somebody like you, somebody
Bm A
Falling just as hard
           G Em A
I'd rather lose somebody than use somebody
Bm A G Em A
Maybe it's a blessing in disguise -I see myself in you-
Bm A G Em A
I see my reflection in your eyes

Bridge:
D Bm
So close, so close
           A
Yet so far away -so far-
        Em
I don't know -I don't-
          Bm
How to be Solo -no-
                             A
So don't go, oh, no, just stay
                                                 G
You and I were bright, shooting through the sky daily -yeah-
                                            Bm
Lighting up the night, wasn't always right, baby -mhm-
                                       G
Yeah, every time that we realised it's crazy

And you save me

Chorus:
        Bm A
We were too close to the stars
        G Em A
I never knew somebody like you, somebody
Bm A
Falling just as hard
           G Em A
I'd rather lose somebody than use somebody
Bm A G Em A
Maybe it's a blessing in disguise -I see myself in you-
Bm A G Em A
I see my reflection in your eyes
