I also really like 6+, but it might not be that easy for beginners

  2. The lyrics are pretty wrong just sayin

  3. I play it +6 by playing the +5 chords with a capo on the first fret, and strumming pattern I use down down-up-down-up as it’s 3/4

  4. YOWARDuke111

a good strumming pattern would be a 3/4 pattern. I used down down up down up.
down would be a whole note for one count and then the two down ups will be eighth notes.

  5. Is there a certain strumming pattern? I can’t seem to figure it out

  6. the last bm sounds better a D

  7. Old man schulz

    Sah mis tios.

  8. Same as the Dbm is not in the A major key, it would be replaced with C#m

  9. on a technicality, Gbm is not in the key of A major instead it should be F#m which do sound the same and the same fingering.

  10. Thank you for posting this song!

Please repost it with ALL of the words.

  11. For the not musically talented among us, any one figure out how to play the bridge part in the above default key/transposition thingie?

  12. tkerk001@fiu.edu

I play it at +5 then the following as the key change

    Em Gbm7 A7 Bm D
All of us under its spell, we know that it’s probably
    E F
    ma—-gic

then play it at +6 for the third verse with the song ending

    Fm Gm7 Bb7 Eb Cm
La da da di da da dum da duh da da dum di da
    Eb
    ohh

  13. I second the +3, but here are better lyrics. Still working on the key change.
Why are there so many songs about rainbows,
And what’s on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
And rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we’ve been told and some choose to believe it
I know they’re wrong, wait and see.
Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Who said that every wish would be heard and answered
when wished on the morning star?
    Somebody thought of that
    and someone believed it,
and look what it’s done so far.
What’s so amazing that keeps us stargazing?
And what do we think we might see?
Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection,
the lovers, the dreamers and me.

All of us under its spell,
we know that it’s probably magic….

    Have you been half asleep
    and have you heard voices?
I’ve heard them calling my name.
Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
The voice might be one and the same.
I’ve heard it too many times to ignore it.
It’s something that I’m supposed to be.
Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection,
the lovers, the dreamers and me.
La, la la, La, la la la, La Laa, la la, La, La la laaaaaaa

What about the part that goes “All of us under its spell, we know that it’s probably magic?”

    • The lyrics on this are incorrect, as with many songs on this website. I don’t know how they get the lyrics so wrong, but somehow they do.

      • It’s to do with copyright, they can’t use exactly the same lyrics so they miss things out etc.

  15. rest in peace Jim Henson :(

  16. hitodemori

I like to play this in C major, so for the tab I just do G C E C E C A C F if I remember the song well enough. It sounds nice and is so simple. (I am awful at writing tablature, but it’s easy to pick up if you’ve heard this song recently.) :-)

  17. keychangepleaseee

    Where’s the key change :(

  18. Transposed +3 is even easier.

  19. heatherann85

Transpose 2 half steps down for an easier version.
