E B A
When it's so dark I can't see the light

           E
I close my eyes and I think of you

Teddybear, honey bee
                             A
Don't forget that you love me

                               E
More than the stars over your head

It's just that your love shines like the moon
                                    A
Full and bright and blinding through

                        E
Into my heart, into my head
     B A
When it's so dark I can't see the light

           E
I close my eyes and I think of you

My little love, my only girl
                                      A
I wouldn't leave you for all the world

                                              E
I'll just sit here and wait for your moon to rise
     B A
When it's so dark I can't see the light

           E
I close my eyes and I think of you
     B A
When it's so dark I can't see the light

                 E
Well I think of you
     B A
When it's so dark I can see the light

                 E
Shining through you

Biography

Said the Whale is a Canadian band formed in 2007 as a collaboration between songwriters Ben Worcester and Tyler Bancroft. The pair’s debut EP, Taking Abalonia, featured sunny west coast indie pop, with breezy harmonies, shimmering guitars and lyrical tributes to their home city of Vancouver, “nodding at times to the sea shanties of Neutral Milk Hotel and at others to the boat-shoe-gazing of Vampire Weekend” said The National Post. In 2008, the album was re-released as Howe Sounds/Talking Abalonia
