Gb Bbm Ebm B Hmm Hmm Hmm Gb Bbm I found myself dreaming. Of silver and gold. Ebm B Like a scene from movie. That every broken heart knows. Gb Bbm We were walking on moonlight. When you held me close. Ebm B Split second and you disappeared. And then I was all alone. Gb Gb Bbm Bbm I woke up in tears with you by my side. Breathe of relief and I realized. Ebm B No, we're not promised tomorrow. Gb Bbm *So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you. Ebm B I'm gonna hold you, like I'm saying goodbye. Gb Bbm Wherever we're standing, I won't take you for granted. Ebm B Cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time. Gb Bbm So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you. Ebm B So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you* Gb Bbm In the blink of an eye. Just a whisper of smoke. Ebm B You could lose everything. The truth is you never know. Gb Bbm So I'll kiss you longer baby. Any chance that I get. Ebm B And I'll make the most of the minutes. And love with no regret. Gb Gb So let's take the time to say what we want. Bbm Bbm Use what we got before it's all gone. Ebm B No, we're not promised tomorrow.

Just a correction. Instead of “When you held me close.” it should be “When you pull me close.” 🙂 😀
-6 is the easiest
☺
I sang this song for my mum as a Mother’s Day present, honestly this song is a dream to sing!
I’m SOOOO happy to say that if you transpose it down by 6, it’s the same as the music video. I was literally just playing along with it for fun and found this out. Hope this helps!!!
Lol. C Emin A and F sounds the best ( and also the easiest )
love this song, but a little hard to sing. and the song sounds much better with one down strum per note.
6 half steps down sounds like the key it’s written in. The one that is posted doesn’t quite fit, especially considering the very fifties influences
The actual song chords are C Em Am F. Also it’s a lot simpler to play.
Also, the second Em can be changed to a G. I think there are a few other instances where Em just sounds a bit off, and this is where I’d play a G.
