Gbm B x2 - Gbm Lo ro lo le lo le Dbm Lo ro lo le lo le A B Can't you see...I'm at your feet Verse 2: played the same as Verse 1 Lucky that my lips not only mumble They spill kisses like a fountain Lucky that my breasts are small and humble So you don't confuse them with mountains Lucky I have strong legs like my mother To run for cover when I need it And these two eyes that for no other The day you leave will cry a river Chorus: Dbm A Whenever, wherever E B We're meant to be together Dbm A I'll be there and you'll be near E B And that's the deal my dear Dbm A They're over, you're under E B You'll never have to wonder Dbm A We can always play by ear E B But that's the deal my dear
I find it easy to play +1 and swapping the E with an E7, and for the bulk of the song, I pluck the G string then the E and A string together.
So it would go like:
Am(G-AE-AE) G(G-AE-AE) F(G-AE-AE-AE-AE)
C(G-AE-AE-AE-AE) E7(G-AE-AE-AE-AE)
And repeat
I cant stand the e chord. By far the hardest
+1 is super easy and sounds great! I play E minor instead of just E.
transpose it to +1, use E7 instead of E, and the strumming pattern i use is D-DU-UDU but only use a D-DU on some quicker parts. for example
Am(D-DU) G(D-DU) F(D-DU-UDU)
I want you by my side
C(D-DU-UDU) E(D-DU-UDU)
so that i never feel alone again
Am(D-DU) G(D-DU) F(D-DU-UDU)
They’ve always been so kind
C(D-DU-UDU) E(D-DU-UDU)
But now they’ve brought you away from here
(and so on)
and then for the chorus i use the full strumming pattern for every chord besides Am and use D-DU for Am only
hope i helped!
Great song – I find -4 is much easier to play.
Transpose it down to -4 fit an easier version
+1 is much easier
I just transposed it -1. its knda hard but not as hardx
I think this sounds perfect +4
Oops, I meant +3 lol
