Interlude: F A Dm

Verse 1:
I
Bb F A Dm
Just wanted to believe
Bb F A Dm
That maybe you'd be good to me
Bb F A Dm Bb
I'm just misunderstood, you see

Interlude:
F A Dm
You
Bb F A Dm
Never had a clue
        Bb F A Dm
All the days that I spent loving you
        Bb F A Dm Bb
Who'm I supposed to give 'em to?

I let you in

Again and again
F A Dm
So tell me, baby

I'm
Bb F A Dm
Bidding you farewell
Bb F A Dm
You'd never stand a chance in hell
Bb F A Dm Bb
They've got another clientele
F A Dm
You're
Bb F A Dm
Treadin' at the shore
  Bb F A Dm
I bet you've never drowned before
   Bb F A Dm Bb
In someone that you'd do it for

Pre-Chorus:
F A
I let you in
Dm Bb
Again and again
F A Dm
So tell me, baby

Bb F A Dm
What could I do?

I thought you were an angel

And lost myself when I caught sight of you

Biography

Houston producer and vocalist keshi has beautifully progressed since first releasing music in 2017. Initially crafting lofi beats and using his voice as an added layer of the instrumental, Keshi has since evolved into a genuine singer/songwriter.

Blending hypnotic bumps with flower petal lullabies, his sorrowful and emotional tracks feel like dancing with the lights off. Like crying and smiling at the same time. Perhaps a fitting manifesto of his music can be heard on the track “onoffonoff,” when Keshi sings “kiss me when you hurt me.
