Intro: Bb Bb Gm Eb F Bb

Bb Bb Gm Eb F Bb
I wish I could do better by you 'cause that's what you deserve,
Bb Bb Gm Eb F Bb
You sacrifice so much of your life in order for this to work.

Bb Bb
While I'm out chasin' my own dreams,
Sailin' around the world,

       Eb F Bb
Please know that I'm yours to keep, my beautiful girl.

Bb Bb Gm Eb F Bb
When you cry, a piece of my heart dies, knowing I may have been the cause
Bb Bb Gm Eb F
If you were to leave, fulfill someone else's dreams, I think I might totally

be lost.
Bb Bb
You don't ask for no diamond rings,

No delicate string of pearls,
Eb F Bb
That's why I wrote this song to sing, my beautiful girl.

Gm Eb F Bb Bb

  3. jade11207

This song truly makes me happy :) thank you for sharing the chords, I love playing this, it always cheers me up on a bad day :)

  4. minniemikaela

    I liked it transposed +2

  5. sorry disregard that last comment I put the notes in the wrong place

  6. I found that this sounds similar to how the guitar portion sounds. Just a thought :)

Bb Bb/F Gm Eb F Bb
I wish I could do better by you ’cause that’s what you deserve

  7. These chords are perfect as they are for me! Thank you!

  8. I use the chord progression G, Em, C, D, G and it works as well, and is much simpler than this :)

    • Like I have said in the notes, transposing it 3 half steps down makes it easier. And if you want to stay in the same key, you need to put a capo on the third fret. That gives you G Em C D ;-).
