AC/DC is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Malcolm and Angus Young. They play hard rock, but they were considered pioneers of heavy metal, according to themselves they play “rock and roll”.

AC/DC has sold over 200 million albums world wide. They’re #4 on VH1’s “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock” and ranked #7 on MTV’s “Greatest Heavy Metal Band Of All Time”.

In the beginning the lead singer was Bon Scott, who had a very distinct voice.
