I never thought that I could feel as great as I do today
      Am D
'Cause you were nothing but a big mistake
             Em D
And life is wonderful, now that I'm rid of you
     G Am
Oh I must've been crazy to have stayed with you
        G Am
I can't believe I thought I was in love with you
            D Am
But now the scales have fallen I can really see
          Em Bm C D
And I say "go to hell", 'cause that’s where you took me

     Am D
Well I felt better since I slammed that door
           Em D
You always cramped my style - I never noticed before
            Am D
It's been a nonstop party since I flew the coop
           Em D
I can't believe I fell for such a loser like you
     G Am
And is it any wonder that I felt so blue
            G Am
When I was always having to put up with you
            D Am
Oh here we go again just lay the blame on me
           Em Bm C D

I've turned a corner boy - my life is ecstasy

And life is wonderful, now that I'm over you
