Intro -x2-: C G Am F

Verse:
C
Stay the same, don't ever change
           G
Cause I'd miss your ways
           Am
With your Bette Davis eyes
          F G
And your mama's party dress
            C
While this city pumps it's aching heart
     G
For one more drop of blood,
            Am
We work our fingers down to dust
       F G
And we wait for kingdom come
               C
With the radio on

Chorus:
        Am F
I wanna see you tonight
           C G
Would you come for a drive?
         Am F
You can lean into me
         C G
If you ain't been in love for a while

Interlude: C G Am F

Verse:
       C
I was born beside a river
      G
That flows to a raging sea
           Am
That will one day serve to quell
    F G
Or one day be the death of me
      C
In my faded jeans and far away eyes
     G
And salty carnival kiss
      Am F
That all my former lovers say
     G C
Was once magnificent

Chorus:
        Am F
I wanna see you tonight
           C G
Would you come for a drive?
         Am F
You can lean into me
            C G
And if you ain't oh if you ain't...
         Am F
I wanna see you tonight
           C G
Would you come for a drive?
         Am F
You can lean into me
         C G C
If you ain't been in love for a while

Interlude: C G Am F

Outro:
                 Am F
And still this city pumps it's aching heart
     C G
For one more drop of blood
              Am F
We work our fingers down to dust
         C G
While we wait for kingdom come
                C G Am
With the radio on
F C G Am
With the radio on
          F C G Am
It's been so long Mae, so long
          F C G Am
It's been so long Mae, so long
F C
But since the radio's on...
