Intro: C G Am F G

Verse 1:
C G
Maybe there's a part of me that wants to be alone
Am F
Maybe there's a part of me that's looking for a home
C G
Searchin' for a place to be, don't wanna leave a trace
    Am F
I'm tryna start my life again, so please forget my face

Chorus:
                    C G
I don't wanna stand out, I don't wanna stand out
         Am F Am G
Live my life in a wallflower garden, with my friends and the fickle hearted
                        C G
And I don't wanna stand out, I don't wanna stand out
       Am F Am G
No one told me when I started, now I'm wishin' I could hide
                    C G Am F G
I don't wanna stand out, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh

Verse 2:
C G
I could sit and stay outside and watch the thunder clouds
Am F G
Countin' on those raindrops, give me roots into the ground
C G
Never thought I'd be the one to say there's somethin' wrong
Am F G
Can I call and tell you that I don't wanna be alone?

Chorus:

Bridge:
C G
Why should I go out and change what I'm supposed to be?
  Am -nc-
I know this song is sad but you can sing along with me

Chorus:
                        C G Am F G
And I don't wanna stand out, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
                  C G Am F G
I don't wanna stand out, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
