Am E
I met a man of two feet tall
         Cadd9
This man was quite ambitious
        F Fm Am
In a world that is so vicious to us all
        E Cadd9
I said, "Hi," as he replied
                           F G C
He said listen to these words that I have lived by my whole life

                Am F
"You're only as tall as your heart will let you be,
                    G C
And you're only as small as the world will make you seem
                        Am F
And when the goin' gets rough, and you feel like you may fall
                   G Am
Just look on the bright side, you're roughly six feet tall."

Am E
I met a man of twelve feet tall
       Cadd9
He towered like a giant
        F Fm Am
In a world that was defiant of his height
        E Cadd9
I said, "Hi," as he replied
                           F G C
He said listen to these words that I have dreaded my whole life

                Am F
"You're only as tall as your heart will let you be,
                    G C
And you're only as small as the world will make you seem
                        Am F
And when the goin' gets rough, and you feel like you may fall
                   G Am
Just look on the bright side, you're roughly six feet tall."

Am

Am E
I am a man of six feet tall
       Cadd9
Just lookin' for some answers
        F Fm Am
In a world that answers none of them at all
            E Cadd9
I'll say, "Hi," but not reply
                           F G C
To the letters that you write because I found some peace of mind

                   Am F
Cause I'm only as tall as my heart will let me be,
                  G C
And I'm only as small as the world will make me seem
                        Am F
And when the goin' gets rough, and I feel like I may fall
                   G C
I'll look on the bright side, I'm roughly six feet tall.

Biography

Never Shout Never is an American powerpop band from Joplin, Missouri, originally formed in 2007 as a solo project by musician Christofer Drew Ingle (born February 11, 1991).

Drew showed the world that with the help of MySpace and great word of mouth, anyone with worthwhile work ethic and talent can start a monumental snowball effect towards success. After recording an EP by himself in his basement, NeverShoutNever! became an instant online success story, averaging over 40,000 online plays a day, and headlining shows throughout the Midwest.
