Jackson Wang (王嘉尔; traditional: 王嘉爾) is a Chinese singer-songwriter, producer, rapper, dancer, host, creative director and designer. He is a member of the South Korean boy group GOT7.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jackson was a professional sabre fencer for the national fencing team, following his former world champion gymnast mom and gold medalist fencer dad. Jackson was ranked eleventh asian youth fencer in the world and went on to win gold at the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships in 2011 – both individual and team.
