HIIIIIIIII! I’m still learning guitar! I’m feeling the calloiuses on my fingers get rougher, and putting my fingers on the fretboard aren’t hurting anymore. I’m having trouble on a few chords, but so far, I think I’m doing really awesome! I’m still on rookie and novice level songs, but it’s still fun. I can’t wait until I’m good enough to play guitar with my friends. I need to get better at shifting chords on ukulele and guitar alike, but I’m getting better! I need to chunk my practice.
My old post is “Learning instruments; Trial by fire!” in off-topic. I’m moving here because this is a better place, I think!

Just realized my spelling for calluses was absolutely baloney. Couldn’t figure out how to edit it, apologies!

JonasKeymasterIt’s definitely a lot to remember at first, all the different chord shapes for both ukulele and guitar. But once that muscle memory starts building, it’s such a joy!

I FORGOT TO PRACTICE EVEN MORE NOOOOOO
GOOD THING IS! i’m gonna join the guitar elective in my school when the time is right! it’ll help me out here-
That’s very nice! Especially without practising for a while, you can get back into it in the course (elective).
