She was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and began gaining recognition by posting original songs and covers on SoundCloud and YouTube. McAlpine released her debut studio album, "Give Me a Minute", in 2020, which received positive reviews. Her second album, "Five Seconds Flat" (2022), included the single "Ceilings"
