E My girlfriend thinks that I'm a nutter, C My parents say that I'm an utter fool, D E For wasting my time on this. E But I'm not chasing my imagination, C I just can't help avoid my fixation, D E Cos I know that he really exists. E C But if you look through time then you will find, D So many artefacts have been signed with clues, E All pointing his way. E And though he may have different faces, C I think it's him in all the cases, D The man is an enigma, E Who knows where he is today. G D E Just have a look at what I've found and see, G D E am I going crazy or is he following me, G D E You can find his legacy sketched throughout, G A B Though the history books always tend to leave him out. E G He's called the Doctor D A But Doctor What? E G D A A I think he's a Martian though I know that that's a long shot E G Doctor D A But Doctor When? G A I'll check back to prehistoric times and there he is again E G Well that's the Doctor D A But Doctor How? E G D A He saves the planet all the time but never stops to bow E G Oh mister Doctor D A But Doctor Who? G A E And most importantly Doctor, how can I find you? E C He takes danger with him everywhere he goes D So if he does show up then we'll know E That something's not right E But I just can't help but think that I C Would make a good companion by his side D E I'm pretty bright, always polite, oh Doctor take me up tonight. E I know that I should get a grip C But I need to see inside his ship D E And have him take me everywhere he gone. E Or at least I'd like to meet the guy C To shake his hand and say goodbye D E And thank him for all he's done G D E You can't deny aliens must be real G D E Well is it that hard to believe that some might be revealed to look like us G D E G Well I know it's just all speculation but I feel I must A B Try to trust in what I feel E G He's called the Doctor D A But Doctor What? E G D A A I think he's a Martian though I know that that's a long shot E G Doctor D A But Doctor When? G A I'll check back to prehistoric times and there he is again E G Well that's the Doctor D A But Doctor How? E G D A He saves the planet all the time but never stops to bow E G Oh mister Doctor D A But Doctor Who? G A And most importantly Doctor, how can I find you? G A I know to you I must look like some kind of Neanderthal G A While you' re a flying cosmic genius and know-it-all G A I'm just an insect, there's nothing I can do. G A B E G How could I expect that I would ever meet you Doctor! D A But Doctor What? E G D A A I think he's a Martian though I know that that's a long shot E G Doctor D A But Doctor When? G A I'll check back to prehistoric times and there he is again E G Well that's the Doctor D A But Doctor How? E G D A He saves the planet all the time but never stops to bow E G Oh mister Doctor D A But Doctor Who? G A E And most importantly Doctor, how can I find you? このアレンジは、投稿者本人による解釈であり、個人の学習、教育、非商用目的で共有されています。もとになっている曲、歌詞、音楽の権利は、それぞれの著作権者に帰属します。 削除をご希望の場合は法的声明をご覧ください。

I’m just learning the ukulele, and I was absolutely thrilled to stumble upon this song! I loved it so much when I was 14, and it was actually what got me into watching Doctor Who! I’m excited to be able to play it 7 years later.
Thank you for sharing this with us, this song is awesome and not very hard to play! 🙂
