i recommend “DDU UDU” over and over for the strumming! you can ad lib in your own strumming for emphasis at bits like the end of a phrase, that’s how i like to do it 🙂

i think its easier
put ur first finger on the second fret of the A and E string, do NOT move it, it helps so that you dont have to move ur finger all the time, and then put your second finger on the third fret of the E string, and for the 2-3-2-3 parts you pluck A 2nd fret E 3rd fret E and 2nd fret E and repeat, when you get to the 5 5 33 part use your fourth finger and your second finger, move it back. if that makes sense????
once you’ve gotten the hang of it you can move up and down the frets to find the pitch that works best for you :))
