+1 is perfect for me and my voice! The strumming pattern I use is down down up ‘pshink’, which means I slap lightly on all strings. love this song :3
-3 is perfect for my voice and style. I play DD Stop for the pattern, meaning I strum down 2 times and put my hand over to shorten the note. I do a 1, 1-2 pattern. Like imagine clap…clapclap. So basically downstrum once , then again,and put your hands over the strings almost immediately after the second down strum.
For the verse I use single down for each chord, dddu for the pre-chorus and ddddu for the chorus 😉

the strumming pattern is either a single down strum or you can do DD DU or DDDU
The strum I use is pluck the c string then strum down on each chord
