Intro: Bbm Ab Gb Db Ab Bbm Ab Gb Db Ab Db

Verse:
       Ab Gb Db
I am a driver on a western highway
         Gb Db Ab
From the mountains to the sea
              Db Gb Db
And there's a song on the western highway
              Ab Gb Db Ab Db
That's saying I will be free__

Verse:
           Ab Gb Db
The sky is fading to the colour of the valley
        Gb Db Ab
Dust of angels and dust of dreams
              Db Gb Db
And your city lights will shine until tomorrow
    Ab Gb Db
And I will not be here

Pre-Chorus:
             Ab Gb Db Bbm
Hm, but your light is brighter than
   Ab Gb Db Bbm
Anything I've ever seen
                Db Gb Db B
And I hear your voice on every station
                   Ab B
Singing out of your dreams

Chorus:
                  Ebm Db
Here I am, on the road again
           Gb Db Eb7
The song began and then in the end
Gb Db Gb Db Ab Db
I was standing by, I was standing by the sea

Verse:
           Ab Gb Db
And by the roadside the trees are shimmering
          Gb Db Ab
Black and silver in the cold night air
              Db Gb Db
And under the moon a new song is singing
       Ab Gb
Saying I will meet you there

         Ab Gb Db Bbm
