I used D instead of Bm (because it’s easier for my small hands) it sounds better
Instead of C I used Cmaj7
It sounds SOOOOOO much better!
me wanting to learn this song
my uke: sure
my voice: dont even think about it
Okay but like im new at this stuff and seeing all you pro’s im like what the heck they are so smart and then me over here looking like an idiot. =)
What are good strumming patterns to this song
i think -7 sounds the best but thats just my opiniobn
i plucked the strings like this EGAG
Love this song! D sounds better and is easier than Bm ?
For the chorus, ‘Isn’t it lovely- all alone?’ I play Cmaj7 then just C, so I switch chords where I put the dash, but I play Cmaj7 for the rest of the song, maybe give it a go 😛
0’s great. Just sing it high.
i saw a comment to use -7, it seems to be really easy and if you are an absolute noob floundering round with no idea how to do all those complicated DU-DU-DUSUDUDUDUSUDSUFUDUDUFDU- sorry i went a bit overboard-
anyways, for the intro try to do strumming down four times for each chord. and then for every verse/prechorus/anything which isnt the chorus just keep strumming down until the next chord. for the chorus, just do one strum down for each chord to like punctuate the silence.
idk if you understood that if you didnt i understand but uh hope it helped for every other clueless newbies like me.
I use 4 down strums for F chord, and 2 down strums for Am and Em chords in pre-chorus. -5 key sounds more plesantly)
I can’t believe how beautiful this song is
i just strummed on the C and E strings back and forth about 8 times for one chord, try it! it really fits for the verses, especially. not so much the chorus, but it still works!
CMaj7 sound better than C, just sayin 😉
instead of c I play cmag7 and bm I play D idk it sounds better to me
I used Am instead of C for the beginning
You could do tabs like this:
(E string:) 5 7 5 3 0 2 3 5 7 12 10 5 5 7 5 3 0 2 3 5 7 12 10 5 ×2
(E string:) 7 5 3 2 0 5 3 2 7 5 3 2 0 2 0 3 7 5 3 2 0 5 3 2 3 2 2 0 3
I see the chords above the lyrics. But there’s chords above those chords too. I can’t figure out why theyre there or what they do. Anyone know?
I fingerpick CECE AEAE CECE AEAE for most of the song, then I either down strum on the chorus or change it to AECE AECE. Hope this helped!
