I luv this song, and I started to play the ukulele cuz of dodie, so im so happy that her songs are here.:)
And this is the song that inspired my Galaxy aesthetic <3 I love Dodie so much
This is a really fun song to play and have fun with at different speeds. I would reccomend it. I really love ukulele because of the fact that you can have fun with it. I play some other instruments where its very percise and you dont express yourself that much. But with ukulele you really get to.
Ya’ll, honestly, you can just use the riptide strumming, and it’ll still sound almost as nice.
Hey, I would just like to point out that at the end instead of the last chorus, you actually repeat (after singing the last chorus) the first line of the chorus 3 times and then sing the chorus again.
I play DDUDU for most the song besides the pre-chorus and chorus.
Pre-chorus I play on the singular words just one down stroke until “this spaceship has a passenger seat” which i play DDUUDU
And the chorus i play DDUUDU
I also sometimes add in UDUDU after the “we are so much more than spacedust”
Hopes this helps!
For the strumming pattern i usually just play DDUUDU with the ocastional DDDUUDU DUUDU on the d chord
I feel like this used to be a good tab but somehow now some things are off…
Aphmau!!!!!??????????!!! I know it has nothing to do with this! Don’t! Judge! O! Kay!
the strumming pattern in the video is du-udu
Just learned it on the piano, super fun
THANK YOU
The strumming pattern
Timka timka ta (down down updown up)
I have a suggested edit, at the end of “for you” for both it should have an Am.
I just think that is what it supposed to be.
Strumming pattern I use if you wanna use it is
Down-down-up-down-up
the strumming pattern i use (which could be totally wrong) is: DD U UDU
i play duududu quite fast throughout most of the song but then one strum in the bridge. hope this helps!
I play the strumming pattern as DDUDU
the D on “for you” sounds off to me…
the strumming pattern is pretty much the same as absolutely smitten, I think?
