I find it easy to play +1 and swapping the E with an E7, and for the bulk of the song, I pluck the G string then the E and A string together.
So it would go like:
Am(G-AE-AE) G(G-AE-AE) F(G-AE-AE-AE-AE)
C(G-AE-AE-AE-AE) E7(G-AE-AE-AE-AE)
And repeat
I cant stand the e chord. By far the hardest
+1 is super easy and sounds great! I play E minor instead of just E.
transpose it to +1, use E7 instead of E, and the strumming pattern i use is D-DU-UDU but only use a D-DU on some quicker parts. for example
Am(D-DU) G(D-DU) F(D-DU-UDU)
I want you by my side
C(D-DU-UDU) E(D-DU-UDU)
so that i never feel alone again
Am(D-DU) G(D-DU) F(D-DU-UDU)
They’ve always been so kind
C(D-DU-UDU) E(D-DU-UDU)
But now they’ve brought you away from here
(and so on)
and then for the chorus i use the full strumming pattern for every chord besides Am and use D-DU for Am only
hope i helped!
cmon boywithuke’s cover tho
I like -1 (can add capo on 1st fret but sounds good without it too)
And +6
Also during the interlude I start with the 3rd chord in the progression.
Exmp: on -1 it goes like this:
Eb – DD DU DU X2
Bb – DD DU DU X2
D – DD DU DU X2
Gm – DD UU DU
F – DD UU DU
Duetting this sounds amazing!
for the strumming I use DUX DUX
+1 is easy
How are you supposed to know the strumming, plucking, etc. If there are any?
I don’t know anything about this website. I just stumbled upon it…
hey, what would be a good strumming pattern?
Hey it’s easy to sing to!
Xuxuxuxuxucu
B is the hardest chord
E is easy I don’t know what u guys ara talking about
Verse:
Gm, F, D#, Bb, D
Chorus:
D#, Bb, D, Gm, F
I agree with Laurel. I’ve tried most of the ones mentioned and I think +1 (change E for E7) sounds the best!
Do +1. It is the easiest. Especially if you don’t have super long fingers that can stretch far.
+1 and sub E for E7
People substituting Em or G for E are either insane or tone deaf.
I use +1 just use Em instead of E works best for me
