Ring the verses softly then dig into full down strums for the chorus.

Dropping in a bar of C7 before the switch to the F at the start of the chorus adds a really nice segue.
For those curious and fancy trying it in “hard mode”, the original key for this song is B major.
Also not sure if this is just how it’s showing for me or for everyone, but the chord changes are out of place further you go down the song. They should mostly be at the ends of lines, but they seem to have drifted. Could just be me though…
at the end it sounds nice to “remake” the chorus and say “and you are my yellow” 🙂
Why does it need a Gm. It makes it sound bad
So if you want it to sound correct, tune your ukulele down a step to F#, B, D#, and G#. It should sound much better, and you play the same chords!

for my strumming pattern i use D D D U D U D
I am wondering is there any other way to play the riff cooler :)
What’s the strumming pattern in the chorus?
I love this… there’s an awesome play along/cover for this by Ricky somborn on YouTube. He has an awesome voice. Just FYI.;-;
Transpose to -1 for the original key. The chords are brutal for beginners though, so tuning your ukulele down a half step is another viable option if you really want to play in the original key
🙂
The original is in the -1 of this, no?
Please can some one explain the numbers and dashes?
The end of the riff is very incorrect..
The dm at the end really runs the pattern and the song!🤬🧿

Ricky Somborn’s strumming pattern:

|D |D | for Am, G
