Anyone here playing this song for someone who loves the movie Moana? I am playing it for my little sis 🙂
Don’t you sometimes wish you knew what people thought about how your voice sounded when you sing? I sure wish I could hear someone give me some honest feedback. People say I’m a really good singer but I think they only say that because I’m standing there and they don’t want to say anything bad.
I can’t do the Fmaj 7 but the song is really good
I got to watch this movie while babysitting last week and loved it, though I did miss giant chunks because a little girl kept yelling,”Let’s fight!” in my face.
How does thus work either I need to get my uke tuned or this is wrong.
In the +3 version
I Love This Song
-4 is pretty good for beginners, but miss out the last verse. i played the first couple of verses and chorus.
strumming pattern, i just did it by ear. the first verse and last chorus i did single down strums (d) then for the others i did DDUUDU (traditional).
For the key change just put a capo on fret one or one above wherever you’re capo is and do the same chords as before.
Even though the movie is for “little kids,” I still love playing this song on the ukulele, it sounds amazing. And the ukulele seems like the perfect instrument to play it on.
Everyone saying the artist isn’t Alessia Cara, this rendition is the Alessia Cara version. The original doesn’t change notes at the end or have an interlude in the middle. Calm tf down.
I’m a kid and my fingers can’t really reach to play the Ab chord fast enough. Does anyone know an easier substitute chord?
For the verse i just do one strum own wards on he chord and then towards the end of the verse where it goes “Every turn i make, every trail i track” i strum on every, make, and track and just stay with that rhythm until the chorus, and then on the chorus i do a basic DD-UU-DU strumming pattern. I hope this was helpful to someone <3
+3 sounds best play it on the 4th fret capo and then on the last chorus do fifth fret capo it sounds so good
