For anyone wondering the strumming pattern, the very first C chord is -up down- followed by -up down up-
The chorus is -down, down up, up down up-
The interlude is just each chord played once
If you capo on the third fret it sounds pretty cute ;P
For the strumming patterns I do the following:
Verses-
D-U, D-U-D, D-U, D-U-D…
Chorus-
D-D-U-D-D, D-D-U-D-D…
As for the F’s right before the chorus, the interlude and the rap break they are all just single down strokes.
What would the strumming pattern be?
At the very end of the song slide your fingers down the finger board and back up and play c because that’s how the original song is
During the rap part thing it’s just the normal chord progression, not the whole thing starting with F
Well actule i think personly that i would personaly use a Lm chord insted of an C. Personily. o_O
After the interlude it should be c g f c g again instead of f c g f c
I agree with Ukuplayer. Putting a capo on the first fret definitely makes it a better key for female singers. 🙂
Yeah, same on what Brooke said. I doing right after the G and then paused and played it again right before the clap. If you try playing along with the song you’ll understand what I mean, hopefully. 🙂
It helps if you add a C at the and of “you” in the chorus.
The easiest song for beginners. If you’d like to use capo use it on the 1st fret. Without capo sounds good also. But I prefer capo.
this is the best tab for this song i’ve found! very helpful and accurate!

I personally don’t have a capo but it sounds good either way tbh
