Hey there, so I was playing this song in front of my mother (who happens to have a degree in music) and she pointed out to me that Ebmaj7 on “my” sounded off. I tested out a bunch of other chords, and we found that Gm not only sounds better, but gives the song a bittersweet feel, which is how Mr. Sinatra intended it to be. Thank you for taking the time to read my comment, and I hope it helps! 🙂
For anyone wondering, for the way mxmtoon played it I’m fairly sure she used -5 so go nuts <3
Hi, same as the person before me, I’d really appreciate if you added the rest of the chords. There’s lots of chords here so it’s not easy to remember and I like to sing along so I can’t scroll back up cos I need the lyrics.
Put the chords at the bottom please!!
In my opinion playing Em7 sounds better than Ebmaj7
Hi, could you put the chords on the bottom verses too? I know it just repeats itself, but it’s a pain to scroll up and look at them. Thanks
Ebmaj7 sounds weird, but the best one that I’ve found is GEEB. Hold down on the 2nd string (normally C), 4th fret and 4th string (normally A), second fret. That’s the best chord that I’ve found. It fits in very nicely.
Pleeeaaaase add the rest pf the chords <3
-2 is a little easier.
Wow, I absolutely love this song but I don’t know most of the chords in the song so I can’t play it. 🙁
for +5 which is relatively easier, D7 is really good for Abmaj7 on “my”. 🙂
I personally enjoy capoing it on the first fret. It just sounds really nice
If you’re trying the mxmtoon version transpose to -2 🙂
Just put chords all throughout the Song
also for -2, i find switching the Dbmaj7 on “my” to just Dm sounds really nice as well.
Need strumming techniques.
Cm is good on “my” for +5
what a lovely song!
(+5 is easier to play)
