G I was walking down the street, Bb When out the corner of my eye C Bb F I saw a pretty little thing approaching me. G She said "I've never seen a man Bb Who looks so all alone, C Bb F Could you use a little company? G If you pay the right price Bb Your evening will be nice, C Bb F And you can go and send me on my way." G I said "You're such a sweet young thing Bb Why you do this to yourself?" C Bb F She looked at me and this is what she said, G Bb C F "Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked, G Bb C F Money don't grow on trees. G I got bills to pay, Bb C F I got mouths to feed, G Bb C F There ain't nothing in this world for free. G I know I can't slow down, Bb C F I can't hold back, G Bb C F Though you know, I wish I could. G Bb C F No there ain't no rest for the wicked, G Bb C F Until we close our eyes for good". Not even fifteen minutes later I'm still walking down the street, When I saw a shadow of a man creep out of sight. Then he walks up from behind And puts a gun up to my head, He made it clear he wasn't looking for a fight. He said "Give me all you've got I want your money not your life, But if you try to make a move I won't think twice." I said "You can have my cash But first you know I got to ask What made you want to live this kind of life?" He said "There ain't no rest for the wicked, Money don't grow on trees. I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed, There ain't nothing in this world for free. I know I can't slow down, I can't hold back, Though you know, I wish I could. No there ain't no rest for the wicked, Until we close our eyes for good". Now a couple hours passed And I was sitting at my house, The day was winding down and coming to an end. So I turned on the TV And flipped it over to the news, And what I saw I almost couldn't comprehend. I saw a preacher man in cuffs he'd taken money from the church, He's got this bank account with righteous dollar bills. But even still I can't say much Because I know we're all the same, Oh yes we've all got to satisfy those thrills. "Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked, Money don't grow on trees. We got bills to pay, We got mouths to feed, There ain't nothing in this world for free. I know we can't slow down, We can't hold back, Though you know, we wish we could. No there ain't no rest for the wicked, Until we close our eyes for good" Este arreglo es la interpretación propia de quien lo aportó y se comparte para estudio privado, educación y uso no comercial. Please add the rest of the chords in
During the chorus when Bb, C and F are played, does that sound off to anyone? This is such a fun song, it just sounds strange…
Is there anyway you ca. Write the chords through the full song it’s annoying having to constantly scroll back up
excuse me whyyyy put the chords in
The F is definitely not right, I’ve been going back to C instead and adding a little d,u,d,u pattern for C to jazz it up
It would be nice of all the chords were there because I like to sing with the lyrics but I don’t have all the chords memorized on the first play…love the song just I don’t like having to go back and forth just to play it. : ) thanks
It would be great if you could add the intro and the instrumental part in the middle of the song
I think C should be Cadd9.
+2 sounds bettee
Personally, I think
G
I was walking down the street,
Bb C
When out the corner of my eye
G Bb F
I saw a pretty little thing approaching me.
f
or the entire song, but I may be wrong
G Bb G quickly played is the intro where there’s no words. It’s something like this:
G Bb G
G Bb G C G
G Bb G
G Bb G C G
G G G
The strumming pattern for me starts as D U D U D U cause it’s a quick intro.
Well this is how I figured it out so,, yeah!
I play it simply G Bb F C.
i just dont play the f in the chorus because thats what made it sound off to me, i hope this helps.
I think it sounds better if you play the Bb C F pattern at the ends as Bb F C it just sounds better.
Strum pattern??? Anyone? I dont geit it.
-5 is easier
yeah it would be SUPER awesome of you could add the lead in the middle of the song!
Play an A instead of F, it sounds much better.
